Refuse & recycling

Recycling, refuse and glass collection in Liphook

East Hampshire District Council runs an alternate weekly kerbside recycling and refuse collection service from wheeled bins.

Ordinary refuse is collected from green bins one week and then recycling is collected from black bins the next week.

A kerbside collection of glass bottles and jars takes place every fourth week, usually on recycling day.  Each property is entitled to up to 3 boxes, which can be purchased from EHDC.

A kerbside collection service for collecting garden waste is available fortnightly on the same day as recycling, but by a different vehicle.  There is a small annual charge for this service.

CONTACT: For more information on recycling, waste reduction and composting please contact EHDC 01730 234295.
